My Approach

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides psychotherapy to individuals and couples. As a Relational Therapist, it is most important to me to create a warm, attentive environment, so a strong connection can form.

I believe that it takes both therapist and client actively working together to create a positive, productive experience. Therefore, during our sessions you can expect me to ask questions, to help you explore important themes, and to provide you with insights and reflections. I ask my clients to be active as well; sharing their experiences, creating therapeutic goals, thinking about the things we explore outside of session, and working toward taking action when it’s appropriate.

In addition to being a talk therapist, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidenced-based therapeutic approach for treating trauma/PTSD, and integrate it into my work with clients as needed.

My goal is to help my clients feel empowered, and provide them with the support and tools they need to move forward, feeling more insightful, aware, and grounded.

My office is located in Larchmont Village (near Hollywood and Hancock Park). I work with adults, young adults and teens on a weekly basis. In order to meet my clients’ specific needs, I offer both short and long-term counseling.
